- There is NO reason for them to bang the floppy hardware directly. The
- majority of us Amiga users are tired of software that breaks at the
- slightest difference in machines. I personally won't buy any games that
- aren't hard drive installable and have on disk copy protection.

- It is so simple for the game programmers to take into account the chipset,
- cpu, caches, ram, hard drive, game controller, PAL/NTSC, etc. There is no
- reason the program should break on any 68k Amiga configuration. Another
- big problem is CD32 games. Many of the games that work on other Amigas
- don't include icon so you can run it from Workbench. To get the to work,
- you usually have to write your own scripts to set the games up to run.

- Magazines should urge game programmers to do their software right. One
- thing they could do is never give them over a 50% rating on a non-hard
- drive installable game or a game that requires the user to hack a script
- together with PD utils just to make their game work. We should never have
- to use PAL, RUNLAME, KILLAGA, etc. just to get the game to work. This crap
- programming is hurting the Amiga market big time!
